Why You Should have a Coach

The best of the best is coached. They are coached for life, money, moving life and business forward, sports, and more. The best golfers in the world have coaches, Michael Jordan, the best basketball player of all time, had a coach, presidents have coaches and advisers for their lives life, Wayne Gretzky, Oprah Winfrey, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Richard Branson, Tony Robbins and so many other top entertainers, musicians, performers, entrepreneurs, investors, and leaders on this planet have coaches. Successful people have coaches and that is Why You Should have a Coach.

Coaches help you obtain more and reach for more by getting more out of yourself. The reality is, people that are successful have coaches, mentors and role models help them navigate and move along their journey. Nobody did it on their own.

Why You Should Have a Coach

Often people allow their egos to get in their way and they make excuses. This again is Why You Should Have a Coach. You don’t want to be the self-limiting person that allows the ego and excuses be priority. People often have the “I can do it on my own” mentality. When this mentality steps in, most will never make it. This thinking is an ego inflicted self-limiting belief. It ends up being a revolving door that creates lack of success. People fail and yet still tell themselves again and again “I can do it on my own”.
Let’s not forget the other BS story that most people use, which is “I can’t afford it”. The real question should be “How can you not”. Be real… Whenever someone says that they can’t afford something or don’t have the money, it’s NEVER really a matter of money. It always comes down to how committed they are and how they choose to spend their money. If you are committed to something, you will find the way to make it happen. Think about it, if someone had a gun to your head and said “I need you to come up with $1000 by the end of the month or I will shoot you”, you will give a 100% and find a way to come up with the money. Why? Because you would be committed to it. That same level of urgency and commitment is what is needed in every area of your life that you want success.

Why You Should Have a Coach

1. Having a Coach Makes You More Accountable: When you have a coach you become more accountable to follow through on whatever you want to obtain. Whether your goal is weight loss, monetary success, family success, or something else a coach will make you more accountable. We all place limits on ourselves and have limiting beliefs and patterns that can hold us back and prevent us from fulfilling our true potential. Having a coach will push you beyond your known limits and your entire belief system will begin to grow and change taking your life to another level.
Without a coach, you’re only accountable to yourself. That is a problem for most people which keeps the pattern of stories and excuses holding them back. A coach forces you to show up at a higher level.
2. Having a Coach Saves You Time and Gets You Faster Results: Time is the most valued resource. You can always make more money, but you will never get more time. Yet most opt to do things on their own which is usually the long route and wastes precious time because most people don’t know the path ahead, lack the education to create a clear path, and don’t know what to expect.
Think about it this way. If you don’t have a clue how to fix a car, why would you try. You will either hire someone to do it for you, or you hire someone to teach you (a coach). So why navigate the things you want in life without hiring someone to help you and show you how to do it? Again it is putting the ego and excuses aside.
Think about how much time would you save, how much less frustration, stress, and anxiety would you have if you had a coach to set you on the right path and hold you accountable. How much more enjoyable would your journey be? How much time would you save? Think about how much faster you could reach your goals. Coaches know how to do it right. They are there to keep you on the right path if you get lost.
3. Having a Coach Saves You Money: When you first started a business, or trying to lose weight the right way, or make more money, do you really have a clue. Most people have no clue what they really doing. They think they do because they read a few books and consumed a few resources. Still you really don’t have a clue. Not having a clue essentially means you’re spending money and wasting money in all the wrong areas. A coach will tell exactly what is needed and make you BELIEVE you can do it. As a result, you end up saving money and making more.
Losing weight or a body transformation is the same thing. When you follow random programs from the internet and books, or use one that someone else just told you to do, or you are buying all the supplements and “magic potions” that are advertised you are throwing my money away. All you are doing is looking for the fastest way to my goal, without really knowing how to get there. When you have a coach you have the accountability but you have the most important thing… A coach will provide you the right program to follow to get results. End result… You have a ton of money from not buying random stuff that doesn’t work and only investing in what your coach knows works, and if you listen to your coach you will see results.
I can go on and on but the truth is you will save money by investing in a coach. When people say, “I can’t afford a life coach”, the answer always is, “You can’t afford NOT to have one.”
4. Having a Coach Saves You Stress and Frustration: Its already been somewhat stated, but having a life coach will save you stress and frustration. Why re-invent the wheel when its already been invented. Is it not easier to learn from someone with years of experience? Why go through stress and frustration trying to figure things out on your own? Not worth the time, money, or stress.
5. Having Coach Gives You a Purpose You Have Never Thought Possible: When you start talking with your coach and listening to your coach you will immediately start having idea that you may have never thought of before. Your coach will point out all of your limiting beliefs, but will also explain and teach you why it will work. When you work with your coach and trust your coach, you will see your potential and see your potential work. Your coach will take you to a new level of belief!
“The significant problems we face cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them.” – Albert Einstein
6. Having a Coach Gives You a New Self-Perspective: One of the most valuable things are the lessons and insights you get about yourself. With a coach you are getting feedback and discovering more about yourself and the process. There are always patterns or behaviors that you won’t even be aware of when you start. You may find it is a story or limiting belief that you subconsciously keep telling yourself, or maybe it is a way you are carry yourself that you are unaware of. Whether it is body language or a subtle way your communicating or thinking it can be preventing you from having success in so many areas of your life. A good coach cares and is always honest with you to help you become your best.
7. Having a Coach Gives You Self-Confidence and Greater Self Belief: There are so many ways that we limit and hold ourselves back. There’s things that we WANT to do, but often aren’t doing simply because we don’t have the belief or confidence in ourselves. When your hesitant about something most of the time it is lack of knowledge, lack of belief that you can do it, believing it takes someone more special than you, but truth is… You’re just scared. People let fear consume them, and then coupled with their lack of belief and confidence it stops them in their tracks.
A coach shows you your limiting beliefs and patterns and makes you realize that you are truly capable of anything. Why You Should Have a Coach… so you can grow throughout your Life’s journey. So you can truly step up and raise your standards to an entire new level. You deserve it!
THE BEST AND MOST SUCCESSFUL HAVE A COACH… SO WHY WOULDN’T YOU?

  • Olive oil
  • Himilayan Sea Salt and Pepper
  • 3 ounces goat cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano

Preparation:
  • Heat grill to high
  • Trim off both ends of the zucchini. Trim just a little off the two long sides to even their shape; discard the trimmings.
  • Cut the remaining zucchini into lengthwise strips, each about ¼ inch thick. Brush both sides of the strips with olive oil and season with a touch of salt and pepper.
  • Places the slices on the hot grill at a 45 degree angle to the grates and grill, covered, until well-browned and limp, 3-4 minutes per side. Check the zucchini as they cook and gently move the slices around with tongs for even browning; be careful not to overcook.
  • When done, drape them over a cooling rack to keep them from steaming as they cool.
  • In a bowl, combine the goat cheese with the sun-dried tomatoes, thyme, and a 1/8 teaspoon of salt.
  • Spread one heaping teaspoon of the filling over one side of each zucchini strip and use a mini spatula to spread.
  • Roll up the zucchini, but not too tightly. Put the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil.
  • Heat the broiler. Sprinkle roles with the grated Parmigiano and brown under the broiler, for about one minute.

How Burning Fat Really Work?

Having an understanding on how fat burns, where fat goes, and what is the best way to burn fat is important to having the ability to get on the path of burning it.

  • What about the "fat burning zone"?  You know, low and slow intensity burns a higher % of fat.
  • What about HIIT?  High Intensity Interval Training - a lower % of calories burned come from fat, but an overall higher number of calories are burned.
  • What about the old adage "eat less, move more"?  There's a lot to be said for that.

How Burning Fat Really Works has been a long standing question. Have you ever wondered or do you just try to burn it? Having an understanding on how fat burns, where fat goes, and what is the best way to burn fat is important to having the ability to get on the path of burning it.
For the past 8-10 years science has continued to fall onto relatively the same answers when looking at the science behind How Burning Fat Really Work.

How Burning Fat Really Works

Being that 65% of the United States is Obese and 80% is overweight we have to start getting educated. The issue that many Americans are faced with is that there is far too much miss-information available. For people to be successful in becoming healthy they must have appropriate knowledge and understanding. We all know we cannot do something without having knowledge about the subject.
According to a new study published in the British Medical Journal, the majority of people believe that fat gets “burned” off by being converted into heat and energy, or they believe that it gets turned into muscle.
Though this this is the common belief and understanding, it is very incorrect. The sad story is many doctors, dietitians, nutritionists, and personal trainers believe this to be true as well. As an industry expert in personal fitness and nutrition for 20 years it is very sad that most industry professionals are still sharing that as fact.
You are probably thinking “Oh Man, I have been told that very thing and I believed it”. That’s okay! You are reading this because you are interested in getting educated on this whole process. Now that you know that fat doesn’t turn into muscle, and you know it doesn’t just magically disappear, it is time to learn story.

How Burning Fat Really Works

When we talk about burning fat we are talking about a specific type of fat. This is fat that accumulates in are adipose tissue areas and comes from the consumption of excess carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. When our bodies don’t need the excess or cannot use the excess amount it is add as fat. Excess macro-nutrients get converted into triglycerides, which are then stored in what is called Adipocytes (aka our fat cells). This means if you have weight to lose, you need to metabolize (burn off) the triglycerides.
To burn fat (triglycerides) they must go through a chemical reaction so they can leave the body in the form of carbon dioxide and water. Yep, you are breathing, sweating, and urinating your fat away.
Resent studies have found that we actually BREATH 84% of the fat out of our body, and the other 16% leaves the body in fluid form (i.e. sweat, urination, condensation in your breath, and so on). Research has traced the atoms with in the fat cells and their pathways as they are released from the body. These studies found that 80% of the fat was carried out of the body in the form of Carbon Dioxide, and 20% was carried out of the body via fluid.
Note: This research has shown that if the goal is to lose weight, simply breathing more or working out more isn’t necessarily going to help you achieve your weight loss goal. There still needs to be a proper consumption of the macro-nutrients that is in line with a person’s needs based on their Basal Metabolic Rate, and activity levels.
Now that we have established an understanding on how fat is burned and where it goes, what is the most efficient way to burn the fat. Most people have heard the term the “fat burning zone”. Many doctors, and trainers have used this term. Is there really a “fat burning zone”?
In years past the majority of science that stated that low and slow intensity burns more fat than moderate to high intensity activities. Based on what was previously covered we understand that the majority of fat loses happens through breathing, sweating and urination. Therefore the previous science of low and slow is no longer the best course of action.
This is why higher intensity training has become the norm and has shown the greatest results. When the exercise is high intensity it uses fat, calories and oxygen processes to create the energy for the activity. Thus burning more because of the heavy breathing, and more sweat created by the workout intensity.
Here is a great example; If you walk for an hour and burn 150 calories, approximately 90% of those calories will come from fat, which will equate to about 135 calories from fat burned. Now, if you jog on a treadmill for one hour and burn 600 calories with 50% of those calories coming from fat, this would equate to 300 calories from fat. This should be a no brainer on which would burn more. Unfortunately people believe that a larger percentage equals more burned. Clearly not true if you do the math. 300 is definitely bigger than 135. Therefore the best way to burn fat is put out a greater amount of exertion and energy use.
One other fat burning concept to keep in mind is what is called the “After Burn” or “Post-Exercise Burn”. The scientific name is EPOC (Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption). This is the energy above your normal metabolic rate that continues to be used after an intense activity.
This means if the exercise is done at a high exertion rate, you will continue to use more energy during recovery due to the elevated state of your metabolic system. This continued use of energy is directly related to your muscles needing to replenish their carbohydrate stores, repair, and remove waste products (i.e. lactic acid). EPOC does not happen is not with low intensity exercise.
Let’s Put it all Together. The best way to burn stored body fat is with high intensity exercise that include many variations of exercise. High intensity exercise can be done on a bike, running, interval training, metabolic weight training and more. For great at-home programs that provide the best training systems for optimal fat burning you may want to look at P90X3Insanity Max:3021 Day Fix, or 21 Day Fix Extreme. The more you change it up the better. It is recommend doing metabolic training at least three to four days per week.
How Burning Fat Really Works is not overly difficult to understand, but when you do have the right knowledge you will be creating a system that will bring you increased fat burning. The bottom line is the harder you work the more fat energy you burn, and the greater the after burn, which in turn brings greater fat burn overall.
